Brie & Bordeux

2227 North 56th Street
July 11, 1996

Children play at Meridian Park;
they swing on the swings higher and higher
until the teacher yells for them to stop,
and they walk back two by two.

When they leave the park they take within their backpacks
the poem I almost wrote. The one about childhood friendships,
summer camps, and earthworms.

A family walks onto the park;
the adults use the facilities,
the child swings on the swing higher and higher.
