      . . . applauded . . .
            . . . wondered . . .
I'm not the only one who dreamed that . . .
      . . . could and would and should happen
for at least the 50 seconds I spend memorizing the first line.

I guess residents of Seward Park were never taught to read
well enough
to demand
a bookstore
before May 1996
